BYSC Select Teams Compete in the WYS Founders Cup

The Bellevue Youth Soccer Club Girls U-16 Select Team coached by Chad Mack wins the WYS Founders Cup with an impressive 3-1 win over the FME Fusion.

Congratulations to the Bellevue Select Girls U16 Ravens who defeated the Fife Milton Edgewood (FME) Fusion 3-1 to hoist the U16/GU17 Washington State Youth Soccer Founders Cup Championship trophy on Thursday, February 20th. Goals from Olivia Mack, Peggy Ferguson and Ellie Moran and 2 assists from Ashlyn Lutz sealed the team's first state cup title. Originally the Founders Cup championship match was scheduled to play at Starfire Stadium on Sunday, Feb 9th, but the season's first snow forced a reschedule and a 2-week wait for the Ravens to play the championship match on FME Fusion's home pitch in Milton, WA. Coached by Chad Mack, the Raven's team is in their 4th season - past accomplishments include the Crossfire Select Silver Cup in 2011 and the North Puget Sound GU16 Division 2 Title in 2012. Congratulations to our Girls U-11 team for making it to the State Cup finals! After an impressive season taking 1st place in the North Puget Sound League Silver Division the girls advanced to the Founder's Cup final; although they came up short with a 2-0 loss they were impressive throughout the tournament! Congratulations to the coaches Simon Robinson and Dylan Hargreaves and all of the girls!
