State Cup Tournament
US Youth Soccer Washington State Championships: This is a highest competitive state tournament. It is played in January through March, and the primary participants are Division I, Division II, and PDL U12-U19 teams. These teams compete for the right to represent Washington State at the Far West Region IV Tournament.
The Challenge Cup: This is the second most competitive state tournament. It is played in January through March, and the primary participants are U11-U19 PDL, WSYDL, and Division II teams.
The Founders Cup: This is the third most competitive tournament. It is played in January through March and the primarily participants are District (Select) teams.
The Recreation Cup: This tournament has changed names frequently over the years - formerly known as the Presidents Cup and the American Cup. It is our State Cup Tournament for "Recreational Teams" ages U-11 and above. US Youth Soccer defines "Recreational" by stating: "the use of tryouts, invitations, recruiting or any like process to roster a player selectively to any team on the basis of talent or ability is prohibited." The Recreation Cup qualifying games begin in October (games are played during the regular season so if your team usually plays on Saturday, your Rec Cup game will be held on Sunday) and continues through the finals in early December.
